Complete transformation of the house both externally and internally. Work that has already been completed at the facility:

Roof and facade


The roof should be single-pitched. But the parapets are built so high that it seems that the roof is flat.

It was necessary to build a foundation for the second floor in order to:

– It was possible to make the roof slope starting from the front facade.
– Increase the height of the second floor inside the house to 290 cm from the draft level.

The height of the windows was also changed to give the facade a nice appearance.

For the installation of a single-pitched roof, the following was used:
– wooden frame;
– corrugated board;
– insulation of the ceiling between the beams with mineral wool 25 cm;
– vapor-permeable films;
– ventilation to prevent condensation from forming.

Supporting structures

Intervention in load-bearing structures:

Cutting openings in load-bearing walls with reinforcement with metal channels, which are calculated by designers and provide a guarantee that the structure will be reliable and will not have a deflection greater than the permissible norm.

Floor and walls of the first floor

Lowering the floor level of the first floor in order to increase the height of the subfloor to 310 cm. After lowering the level, it was necessary to compact the ground with a vibratory foot to prevent shrinkage in the future.

Backfilling the floor base with crushed stone of fraction 5-20, crushed stone does not retain water, like soil or clay. It lets it pass down and does not allow it to accumulate under the slab, thus moisture does not stand under the concrete that will be in the future, and it also does not mold.

The crushed stone base was rammed with a vibratory foot. A film was laid over the entire surface for additional waterproofing. The reinforcement was installed, which is fixed to the wall along the perimeter, connected to each other and mounted at the height of the lower third of the concrete screed.

Pouring a rough concrete screed of the M200 brand. The smoother the rough screed, the better and easier it will be to install the extruded polystyrene foam and there will be no differences when the finishing screed is poured. Therefore, when there is a warm floor, it will warm up evenly because it will be at the same height in the finishing screed, because the base is even.
